United Properties Southwest

Was formed and capitalized to develop, construct and manage commercial real estate for our corporate ownership and for the ownership of third parties. The corporate make up of UPS has been specifically designed to operate in total accommodation to these two objectives. A large percentage of our annual business is the development and construction of commercial properties for outside third parties and design/build customers.


The principals and officers of United Properties Southwest have a lengthy history of development and ownership of investment grade commercial properties with a combined 108 years of commercial development experience. Combined, the principals and officers of United Properties Southwest have collectively designed, developed, and constructed approximately $198 million in commercial properties for third parties in the past nineteen years.  This represents 43 properties in 21 cities and 11 states.


The third party owners for whom we have built consist of family trusts, pension funds, life insurance companies, individual investors (and investor groups), and limited partnerships. UPS develops for third parties on a guaranteed, fixed sum basis for turnkey delivery of a given product at a specified price. This contractual format places total liability on United Properties Southwest to design, construct, and deliver at an agreed, fixed sum, with no cost overruns to the owner. Our delivered projects to third party owners have ranged from warehouse distribution to mid-rise office, from coast to coast. Many of the family trusts and owners for whom we have built are highlighted on the following pages.
